In April 2019, Australian Indonesian Association of South Australia (AIASA) conducted an Indonesian Festival (Indofest) in Adelaide. The estimated visitor count was 10,000, which made the festival the biggest Indonesian festival in Southern Hemisphere.

Decorum Group Pty Ltd conducted Greenhouse Gas Measurement (GHG) for the festival which aims to provide a baseline emission for such an event in order to assist AIASA to conduct greener events in the future.

Indofest 2019 was sponsored by the City of Adelaide, Multicultural Affairs, Department of Premier and Cabinet, Flinders University – Jembatan.  

 

What we’ve accomplished:

1.

Greenhouse Gas Measurement to provide baseline emissions for the purposes of future accountability and improvement.

2.

Recommendations based on current emissions to be used to execute future event plans, as marketing strategies and efficient guidelines for vendors.
